Arts Alive 2001

Arts Alive Banner Project, Encinitas, California

Over 50 local artists created the banners which hung along Highway 101 in Leucadia from February thru May, 2001. The project is sponsored annually by the 101 Artist's Colony, San Dieguito Art Guild, the Encinitas Commission for the Arts and DEMA, the Downtown Encinitas Main Street Association. Kathleen's "Poinsettias" banner was purchased by the City of Encinitas Sister-City program to be presented to the city of Hondo, Japan.
